From Eric: “When I was in Haines for Brewfest this summer, I tried a Lavender Gruit from Hains Brewing Co. and it was my favorite beer of the weekend by far. After returning to Juneau, I felt inspired to figure out how to bring some lavender into my crew brew. One morning, while sipping a London fog with a shot of lavender syrup, it hit me. This beer pays homage to my favorite caffeinated drink and my favorite person. This is our fifth release in our series of Crew Brews, and this one is brewed by none other than our Master Chef, Kayla Johnson! Carrot cake-esque and perfect for the holidays.

Brewed with pilsen, oats, and wheat for a pillowy softness, this hazy explodes with flavors of melons, citrus, and herbs from heavy additions of Motueka, Jarrylo, and Equanot hops post boil. A perfect beer before hitting up eaglecrest.

A wheat pale ale brewed exclusively with galaxy hops and grapefruit peel! Pale biscuit notes from heavy wheat additions meld with galaxy’s light fruit notes. A dry finish is balanced by the light acidity and delicate bitterness of the grapefruit peel to make a very chuggable late summer drinker.

An ultra-lite beer packed full of hop flavor for those long ski days on the mountain. We brewed this no/low alcohol beer with a ton of wheat, oats and hops to give it a nice body with bright citrus flavor while having as little alcohol as possible. It’s our most chuggable beer to date.

This ale showcases locally picked spruce tips giving notes of heavy citrus and pine with a light bubblegum background. Citra, Simcoe, and Cascade hops enhance the spruce tips by providing undertones of a variety of tropical fruits. Dry and Refreshing, this beer will be great for anybody looking for a light, easy, fruit forward flavor.

A mixed culture saison with a sour edge. Fermented entirely in French oak and brewed with a few wheat varietals for a pillowy soft mouthfeel with light vanilla and coconut. Hallertau and lemondrop hops accent the light sourness with a citrusy, floral finish.
